Dumfries, Galloway, Lothian & Borders: Tonight, expect dry and clear conditions across central and western parts, while low cloud and haar will be prevalent over eastern parts initially. Late in the evening, the low cloud and haar will spread to central areas. The minimum temperature will be around 10°C. Looking ahead to Wednesday, we can anticipate a lot of dry weather with some sunshine and it will feel very warm. There may be some haar along the east and Solway coasts at times. The maximum temperature is forecasted to reach a pleasant 25°C. For the outlook from Thursday to Saturday, dry weather with some sunshine and continued warmth is expected. Some haar along the east and Solway coasts may occur at times, and there’s a slight chance of the odd shower on Thursday.
Strathclyde: Tonight, low cloud will continue to increase across the Central belt, with mist and fog patches forming. Surrounding areas will stay dry and clear, with the minimum temperature dropping to 9°C. On Wednesday, early low cloud, mist, or fog will soon clear, leaving dry weather with some sunshine. Temperatures will remain warm, with a maximum of 25°C. Looking ahead to Thursday to Saturday, dry conditions with sunshine and warmth will persist. Some haar in the east may occasionally affect the region. On Thursday, there’s a slight chance of the odd shower, and rain may spread over northern parts late on Saturday.
Central, Tayside & Fife: Tonight, it will be dry and clear across western parts, while low cloud and haar over eastern parts will prevail initially. However, low cloud and haar will soon spread to all but far western parts. The minimum temperature will be around 11°C. On Wednesday, expect a lot of dry weather with some sunshine, making it feel warm. Cooler conditions with some haar in the east may occur at times. The maximum temperature is forecasted to reach 25°C. The outlook from Thursday to Saturday suggests a continuation of dry weather with some sunshine and warmth. Cooler conditions with some haar in the east may persist. There’s also a chance of the odd shower on Thursday.
Grampian: Tonight, dry and clear conditions will be present across western parts, while low cloud and haar over eastern parts will dominate initially. Low cloud and haar are expected to soon spread to all but the far western parts. The minimum temperature will be approximately 10°C. Wednesday will bring a lot of dry weather with some sunshine, and it will feel warm. Cooler conditions with some haar in the east may occur at times, with a maximum temperature of 22°C. The outlook from Thursday to Saturday indicates a continuation of dry weather with some sunshine and warmth. Cooler conditions with some haar in the east may persist. There’s also a chance of the odd shower on Thursday.
Highlands & Eilean Siar: Tonight, low cloud and haar over northern and eastern coasts will spread inland overnight. However, western parts will stay dry with long clear periods, and mist and fog patches may form in some areas. The minimum temperature will be around 7°C. On Wednesday, expect a lot of dry weather with some sunshine, making it feel very warm. Some haar in the north and east may occur at times, with a maximum temperature of 25°C. The outlook from Thursday to Saturday suggests a continuation of dry weather with some sunshine and continued warmth. Some haar along the northern and eastern coasts may occur at times. There’s a chance of a few showers on Thursday, and rain may arrive later on Saturday.
Orkney & Shetland: Tonight, after a dry and clear start over Shetland, low cloud, patchy drizzle, mist, and haar over Orkney will spread north towards morning. The minimum temperature will be around 10°C. On Wednesday, conditions will be mostly dry with some bright spells, but there may also be some low cloud and haar at times. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 17°C. The outlook from Thursday to Saturday suggests mostly dry conditions with some bright spells, occasional low cloud, and haar at times. There’s perhaps a few showers on Thursday night, and cloud and outbreaks of rain will spread east on Saturday.
